While at Chena Hot Springs we decided to head over to Alaska's only natural hot spring. It is a sweltering 165 degrees and they have to cool it down so that people can get into the pool without cooking like bacon. It was a beautiful day and dad was the only one brave enough to head all the way in…Ice martini glass and all!!! He thought it was time to head out after his ice martini glass melted! For mom and I, we were
A few nights ago, we had a chance to catch up with old friends, M+J. I have known them for, what seems like forever. When we get together we always have a good time and fantastic food, especially if she picks the place. Trust me!!! This girl knows her food! She should start her own blog! Hint hint! ;) So the hubs and I set off to discover a new-to-me place, Swing Wine Bar and Cafe in Olympia, WA.Located right on Capitol Lake in Olympia,
We have been traveling this week so I apologize for the lack of updates. I didn't want to miss Foto Friday. This picture is from our road trip which I will tell you all about later. I’m back at it! I know, I know…it’s been forever! I have no excuses other to say that I’m sorry and I have been living life and forgot to fill you all in! Sweating bullets…trying to figure out how to make my way back! To tell you the truth I have missed the blog and you, the readers! How are you? What’s new out there? Well…we have relocated to…Oooooklahoma. And I have to say we have settled in nicely. And we are only 3 hours away
Today's Foto Friday feature is incredibly special... It marks the 6th year of our wedding! So in honor of that momentous day I felt it appropriate to do a throwback. It's not from the actual wedding but pretty darn close so, please forgive me! To my hubby, Life has changed so much since that innocent meeting 7 years ago but it has been for the better. Thank you for all the great adventures & memories. I'm sorry that you're stuck
Never Forget September 11, 2001. As a New Yorker and US Soldier today is not lost on me... Stay safe my fellow deployed comrades. Can't believe that it has been 12 years. I still remember like it was yesterday. Do you remember where were you? What were you doing? Let me know in the comment box. Tomorrow will be back to much less somber topics like the new iPhone launch or did you hear Arsenio Hall is back!
A long time ago I used to live in Seattle, well not that long ago but now it seems like a lifetime ago. One of the best parts of living the Emerald City was heading over to Pike Place Market. It's always full of tourists and crowded but that's okay. It's part of the charm as well as watching the fishmongers throw fish! But that's not all there is to this beautiful city... I made my first Glossi to show you some must visit places.
